I watched a program on TV showing how people were celebrating this holiday even though there is COVID-19. One guy who was working in a hospital said that the work he is doing to care for COVID-19 patients represents the "spirit of the holiday". So he doesn't feel like he isn't being allowed to celebrate. I thought that was a nice sentiment.
