For me, Valentine's Day is the day for every lovers and couples to honestly express their sincere and unblemished love for each other through a flower or card giving, dining out, staying overnight together (the couples) to feel the true essence of love in a simple token, gesture or whatever it is which is indescribable way of manifesting it.

I had a nice Valentine's day. We took the baby to his playgroup, then afterwards wandered around the local art museum for a few hours. We had a fancy family dinner at home instead of going to a restaurant -- no crowds, much cheaper, and the kids aren't excluded (I'll post more about our dinner in the "What's for dinner?" topic). Afterwards, Otto and I snuck off to the ice cream shop for a cone while another adult did bedtime stories with the kids.

Sounds nice. We are having our special dinner this weekend. We will make dinner together at home as well. Might even get a nice bottle of wine.

I guess we should remember that it's not a happy day for everyone. Some people are lonely and like you gjax sometimes the day brings on memories of something sad. I had a friend who lost a child on Boxing Day so Christmas has never been the same for her either.

Awwwe that is sad...yes my brother passed on the 14th and we buried him on the 18th which would have been his 50th birthday...I just dont like February....I hope that you had a good day though

I hope for people who do celebrate, hopefully your day was nice . My boyfriend worked late Valentines day so yesterday he took me to the store where I picked out some candy. I got something I never saw before called Bel D'OR Delicious Belgian Chocolate Cups There is only 15 in the pack sadly. They are good so that is nice . We spent a lot of the day playing 7 Days To Die together as we both are on a zombie kick for games. I love ForumCoin

What's everyone doing? I think we will just have a quiet one again. Maybe go out for dinner this weekend, when we don't have to stand in line to get in.
