I submitted a cookbook review tonight about no-bakes! Guess what the cookbook contained? A recipe for Baklava Crispy Bars! No baking involved!

butter
honey
miniature marshmallows
ground cinnamon
grated lemon zest
oats and honey crispy cereal
chopped walnuts

That's it! Voila!

Interesting. Do you refrigerate them? Must be something like that to get them to stay stuck together.

Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: juice, black tea, scrambled eggs, toast with vegemite

Lunch- Jalepeno bread with strawberries and pepitas

Black tea

Dinner- pumpkin soup, toast, dolmades (but Lebanese ones so a bit different from the Greek ones I'm used to and they're probably called something different).
white wine

I thought of you the moment I saw Baklava. (my loved ones too!)

Some people have luck with room temperature. I have to keep no-bakes in the fridge or freezer.

Re: Your Daily Meal Diary

My next dentist's appointment is on the 14th not like the 21st like I had been told.

Today, I had 3 servings of instant mashed potatoes and am preparing instant mashed potatoes again tomorrow. I did have some turkey gravy.

I am not going to give up on my beloved pepperoni. I need to puree pepperoni but do not know what to puree the pepperoni with. Any suggestions? I would appreciate it.

After all of this dentistry, I am going to need a good stiff drink.

I did not prepare instant mashed potatoes as planned. Tomorrow.

Today, I simply had:

2 bowls of Loaded Cocoa Puffs cereal
1 Hammy Sammy

I am probably going to get hungry later on tonight, so might have a small treat.

iced coffee
sweet tea with true lemon
diet soft drink
water with true lemon

Yesterday I had:
Breakfast: toast with peanut butter, juice, black tea.

My partner found a new shop that opened up nearby that sells vegan doughnuts so he bought me one. I don't know how but they taste just the same as regular doughnuts! He also got me a boba tea (green apple tea with rainbow jellies)

Lunch-
pasta with pesto, cashews, olives and vegan feta

Black tea

Dinner- Veggie curry (I forget what kind), with dahl and naan, but I couldn't finish it. Such a hot day, didn't feel like much by the end. Non alcoholic beer.

Shot of whiskey, to celebrate a minor triumph.

Today, I have plannned:

spaghetti and meatballs dinner
bread pizzas

sweet tea
coffee
diet soft drink

The last attempt at chewing spaghetti was a disaster. However, I want spaghetti and am not going to take a no answer!

I had more teeth then! I don't care!

I am a pro at chewing air fryer bread pizza. Atleast for now...

I am also taking a break from the usual shakes for just today! Instead, I am having a few sweet tea!

Not only for myself. I am preparing the spaghetti and meatballs dinner for my roommate and her boyfriend also which is nice.

I'm just back from a holiday.
Yesterday I had:
Breakfast- vegemite toast, juice, black tea. Usually I'd have eggs but we didn't have any and I didn't want to buy some (normally I eat them from our chickens).

Sticky Chai
Part of a nut/fruit slice I didn't really like

black tea

Lunch- Salad I bought at the airport with lentils, kale (yuck, not my thing) and roast pumpkin.

Dinner- Veggie spaghetti bolognese. Non alcoholic wine

Shot of whiskey before bed.

As I have been attempting to consume protein shakes every day, I had a glass of chocolate peanut butter protein shake this morning which just did not do anything for myself. I think because I normally do not have food or drink for breakfast, just coffee or iced coffee.

I learned my lesson.

So, for the rest of the day? I ate normal food!

soft beef stew
ramen
1 ounce bag of Cheetos

protein shake
espresso
water with true lemon
sweet tea
coffee and iced coffee.

Just maybe, I might have a cheeseburger later on. I might not.

I totally forgot to have meals today until...

A friend texted myself and texted that she was having soup!

Bingo! Food!

So, afterward, I had an eggnog protein shake, cup of ramen, hammy sammy and sweet tea!

I want to cheat so bad and have Salstitas spicy salsa tortilla rounds. I have been being so good with soft foods.

--- 24 Feb 2025, 17:32 ---

cheeseburger on English muffin
meat cheese crackers
air fryer French fries
chocolate peanut butter protein shake
2 peanut butter oatmeal protein balls

sweet tea
coffee/iced coffee
sparkling water
milk
diet soft drink

Today? I cheated.

I had an early appointment and too lazy to pack a lunch. Yep, I tossed a bag of potato chips in my backpack. Took forever to chew.

When I got hope, I tossed an Angus burger in the microwave. No cheese. No bun or bread. Took forever to chew.

Next, for tonight, I am too lazy to prepare any protein shakes!

So, I am simply going to have some instant mashed potatoes with frozen stir fry vegetables for dinner. Appetizing? Hopefully soft enough to chew!

To drink?

coffee
water
sweet tea
sparkling water
diet soft drink
