Re: Chat & What Did you do today? - How was your day?

Postby KCARES » 15 Aug 2017, 08:54

I have been staying pretty busy today. I have been getting around the last few things for my son's wedding in September. It is a stressful time but also a very exciting time as well. I hope everyone had a good and productive day.

I am watching some Silly Tagalog Movies on Cable channels. It is not normal. Before, I can't watch television because my father is always holding the remote but now the remote is free. I do not appreciate it anymore.

I know it's now Tuesday, but right back at ya, Fergal :)

As for what I did today...woop woop, I finally got to meet someone I've been hot on the trail of for MONTHS! Fingers crossed I can actually secure an audience with him soon because he has the power to help me with a project I've got brewing ;)

* * My day has been typical. I wake up, get coffee, get started working online. Sign in to as many work sites as I can. Work in between the tabs. Open up too many tabs. My screen freezes. Have to close the browser, reopen the browser, and start all over again. Sometimes I only do this once a day. Sometimes I go through this routine more than once. Not a geek so don't know what causes the screen freeze. :? But no matter. I'm used to constantly starting over and over again in my life. It's how I keep on keeping on! :D

I remember when my parents passed away. They remind me of a lot of things. Your experience is taking me back to the times. I find it hard to comfort you because I have been there, and I know how it feels.

* * Count your blessings. <3 You have fond memories of your dad and "quirky" memories too. "Quirky" as in things that can only be associated with him. Both of my parents are gone. Have been gone for years. At first every little reminder of them hurt. Slowly but surely, as time passed, every reminder is now is counted as a blessing. I'm so glad I can draw from those various memories for comfort, assurance, wisdom, humor, etc. It makes you stronger and you feel so thankful and blessed that you had good parents. :)

Hey there. Finally received my Cosmos Star Projector, and i'll give you a tip: don't buy it online. Find it in a store and make sure itsn't chinese and that it must be mounted by yourself... it will save you a few hours.

Hope your day was good everyone.

Time heals the pain. My parents may have passed away several years back, but I am still longing for them. The reason is we have different ways of grieving and suppressing ourselves from the pain. We have different ways of viewing things. But I do hope we all heal from it.

It's weekend guys! Some of us may be going to unwind, but some of us may be busy. Nevertheless, we may all have a blessed weekend.

Today and maybe tomorrow I am taking days off from ForumCoin as I am visiting my daughter who lives 2 hours away. So excited as I don't see her that often now. :)

* * It may be Saturday but it's just another work day at the “Office of the Mom” (what my kids call my bedroom). I have articles that have been sitting at certain websites, literally for years. I don't delete them because they earn me residual income, even though it isn't much. Spent most of the day working on updating a lot of my articles. Some of the affiliate links were outdated. Yikes! Products disappeared, links were incorrect, etc. In between, I have been popping in and out of Forum Coin because I get eMail notifications on various discussions I'm following here and I may still have more to talk about. All in all, it's been a typical yet terrific day! Got no complaints. :D

Today, I was talking to my mind about a decision of leaving my company. I was so stressed about the pile of work I did earlier. Early in the morning I was given a lot of tasks that is not my regular work. I thought someone from work finished it already. The task was given to me without my knowing and some explanation. It usually happens there with some people and it happened to me this time. I felt bad about it.

I'm a little annoyed because I didn't do much in terms of online work. I got up reasonably early, had a bite to eat and had a shower. Then I had a business meeting to attend before rushing over to the government customs and revenue office to get my husband's online tax account sorted out. I'm glad all of that's out of the way, but also annoyed that it's already early evening and I still have so much work to do...grrrrr!!

School has started again and it's my daughter's second day. So I'm up eary like around 7:30 AM checking to make sure she gets out to the bus stop. Once I'm up I check the live news stream on YouTube. Just wondering if war broke out while I was asleep. (Not a joke! A few weeks ago, everybody was on “pins and needles” about North Korea.) Once I see that hasn't happened, I go about my regular work day. :)

* * Thinking of leaving the company? Stuff you describe sounds like typical "office stuff". Happens everywhere. Co-workers and managers DUMP ON YOU! No matter what country you're in huh? :D Just do the work quiet and peacefully. Don't feel bad about it. You got no reason to feel bad. What did you do wrong? :? <3
