Something strange I noticed on their profile is that they have Bible verses displayed. It’s part of a disturbing pattern I’ve seen in many racist, sexist, bigoted, and discriminatory posts online. For some reason, a common denominator seems to be that the individuals behind them are often very religious.
Also, some unreasonable religious people seem to be pro–death penalty, anti-immigration, and very hateful. They don't practice what they preach.

That's strange and disturbing too. It's rightly said that it is easy to preach than to actually live it. Walk the talk...
It's something very tough to do.
But some strongly feel that and it's quite a possibility that they just use these profile images to mislead people or even malign religion. Well, social media is full of fake profiles. People are in disguise and it can be misleading to know someone's true nature from social media profiles.

I think they just don't actually respect women deep down and only pretend to in their 'real' offline lives. Sometimes men also seem to only respect women in relation to men, eg. "she's somebody's sister/wife/daughter" instead of realising that "she's somebody" (a person in her own right, deserving of respect). Similarly, telling a guy you have a boyfriend often gets them to leave you alone faster than just saying you're not interested, like another man's claim on me matters more than my own opinion.

I am not by any means saying that ALL men behave like this. Just want to be clear on that.

At least something. For me, as man, it is stupid see chubby man calling other woman ugly. Just look yourself and at least hold average look. Maybe fitness trainer can say something but even them should not say such comment.

Sadly, it's very common. They used the verses to justify themselves. People have used the Bible to lord it over others since the scrolls were written.

Yeah I see that too. Christians seem to be a type of people that are very fond of spreading hate online. It's a bit counteractive to their whole point though... I think god would reach down and shut off their computers if he could.
