I'm on vegetarian diet twice a week. The foods I eat include tofu, beans, pumpkin, potatoes and all sorts of vegetables.

I recently had a book review published about a cookbook called Vegetarian Any Day.

Maybe you can borrow the cookbook from your local library?

With or without egg? I make some recipes without meat and fish, but I almost always use eggs because they are made in a frying pan or in the oven.

Today, I was a little weak, needing a little bit of meat.

So, I ate a bagel with pepperoni and mozzarella.

I then returned to the day it is, "meatless Monday".

I prepared a huge batch of spaghetti salad.

I then thought to myself, I should have my nightly ritual of air fryer potatoes before bed.

But then, oh no, there is a little bit of leftover chicken salad in the fridge! Can't let go to waste!

So, going to have a half cup to a cup of chicken salad placed on top of my air fryer potatoes!

Yep. I am blessed.

Um, I was looking for vegetarian recipes. Very often when the topic comes up meat eaters feel the need to to tell me that they eat meat because blah blah reasons, and I'm like "you can do that, but it's weird that you feel the need to tell me about it". You don't need to justify what you eat to me or anyone, vegetarians aren't there to hear people's meat eating confessions.

I sometimes put spinach or beetroot into smoothies. You can't really taste the spinach if you put it in with fruit. Beetroot makes the smoothie pink, which is nice.

No, lots of vegetarians do eat eggs, because eggs are not meat. Vegans don't eat (or use) any animal products, but there are different types of vegetarians. Some eat eggs and dairy - ovo lacto vegetarian, some eat eggs but not dairy (ovo vegetarian), like me.

Doufuhua a chinese tofu desert made of silken tofu and ginger syrup.

Some version of the recipe ads boba pearls to the mixture.

Thank you! You're the first person to actually suggest a recipe. I want to try this one.

Have you ever had wedding soup? A bunch of spinach! Can be prepared vegetarian if one doesn't use meatballs.

Why aren't eggs considered vegetarian? You are not consuming the chicken. Just wondering.

Technically they are, since they're not meat, but some people don't like to eat animal products at all (eg. vegans) or draw the line at different places.

I suppose fertilised eggs could be considered not vegetarian, but if the hens don't have access to roosters then the eggs aren't fertilised.

Spontaneo, you didn't answer my question and instead posted something irrelevant that I found a little offensive in context (I'm an ethical vegetarian, I believe it's wrong to eat meat, I don't want to hear about all the meat you eat), then when called on it you gave me a negative point. Seems a little backwards to me.

I'm still keen to see any actual vegetarian recipes that you, or anyone else want to share.

Here's one I want to try.

I am usually good at having Meatless Mondays. I totally forgot this past Monday. I prepared Crock-Pot Chicken Parmesan for my roommate and myself! Then, today, I had a bologna sandwich!

I really, really, want beer-battered fish tomorrow!

What should I do?
