Garth Brooks---I think he's part of the reason I'm still alive!

(Not specifically, of course; he probably 'doesn't even know me from Adam,' and I don't know anything about him other than what any country/western-music fan could find out.)

First of all was a big concert he performed--I think it was his 'Ropin` the Wind tour' (the video below's only a taste of his 'music' ... not his 'songs' )--it inspired me to become a musician-or-showman-or- ... -something.

But--as you can probably see from the clip above or from watching any of his big concerts (from Ropin` the Wind of the early `90's to the recent Notre Dame concert), his 'concerts' aren't typical "concerts" (where you file-in & watch the performer on the pedestal playing the music), but they're more like 'parties for the man and his band (and you're there to make sure they're having fun making sure you enjoy the fun they're having)!'

And that's why I got into music (and performing and ... most of the things I do): to show you what fun I'm having!

I don't know much of Garth Brooks music but I do know he's a giant in the country music industry. I know they don't look alike but I get him mixed up with Tim McGraw. Either way, I like country music. The songs have words that touch your heart and sometimes make you laugh.
