Night Swimming

Postby Vens » 13 Jul 2015, 16:25

Ever gone swimming during the night?
I was running along the beach the other night and got really worked up, all sweaty. I was going to take a shower but I saw some "crazy" kids going for a swim. So I though why not and got into the water. The water was surprisingly warmer than during the day. It was pretty cool experience swimming in the sea under the sky full of stars. The next night I went again with a friend.

I've sat on the beach with my feet in the water at night before but not for a swim. We had a pool at one point growing up and we swam in there during rain storms and sometimes in the evenings before it was getting dark. I would like to experience that sometime but nearest beach is 30 minutes away.

I think it is quite dangerous when you swim at night on the beach as you can not quite see what it is in there unlike during the day.

I prefer night swimming since I don't get too tanned or sunburned. But it is dangerous when you do it on the beach so I only do it if there if the resort I stay at has a pool that is accessible. Otherwise, I just try to wake up quite early around 6-7AM and swim on that time.

It is not advisable to swim in the night. Nothing is clearly visible
