Do you go to the library often?

Postby Silvermist » 18 Sep 2017, 18:53

These days people prefer to read e books online or listen to audio books more than reading hard copies .But still, there are many readers who buy books or visit libraries to borrow books.Even though I do not visit the library more often as I used to,I go to the library whenever I can.How about you?

I frequent the library the most in the winter time more so than in the summer months. I love to read actual books more than I do ebooks or audiobooks. I just recently took my kids to the library and we got loads of books. They like me to read to them at bedtime and right now we are starting to read the Harry Potter books.

I love to read books. Real books, the one from paper and ink, not on iPads or whatever lol. I love the library and honestly I would frequent it a lot more if I was not so busy!

I only go to the library to do research but for other normal reading I do it in my room simply because i hate too much silence because most of the times I tend to sleep or even lose concentration, but I don't know why....

This is a topic I posted several days ago that talks about the Library for our modern days.

Enjoy,

My wife and I visit the library weekly, and sometimes more times in a week.

We are avid readers and prefer books over the T.V.

My wife reads strictly paper books while I read paper and Ebooks.

To be honest I never go to library and I'm very bad learner and impatient reader, I have a good collection of books and i'm a student of physics but less learning interest make me unwise.

In my neighborhood there is a small outdoor library for free to exchange books, people in the neighborhood donate books to it and exchange to read and return. You can sit there and read the grass and benches. Sometimes musical events are held in the square opposite. A really fun library.Image

I visit the library at least once a week. The library serves a vital purpose in every society. I hope they continue to get the funding that they need in order to provide a full array of services.

Yes,when I was teenager,I was visiting the library several times per week(3-4 times). My passion is reading booksso I have bought a lot of books too.Well, that was then. Now,almost 80% of the people are reading ebooks.I have seen people in the library too,but not as was before. The truth is you can find more new books and things online than in a library. That being said,on the other hand the library remains "my first love" :)

I go to the library every day as I work in a public library
Books are expensive nowadays and a lot of people come to the library to take it at home to read. During school time a lot of parents come to the library to take the books that their have to read in school.

This is a great idea @gilggg I think I will copy this and try to implement it here.

My son is 9 and he is the biggest fan of Harry Potter, he has already read all the first seven books, now he is reading "The cursed child". Hope your kids like it too.
