Our sun is yellow and provides enough light for life on Earth. It burns brightly but it still has a long way to go before it reaches its end. Scientists say it has billions of years before it completely changes.

Some people think the sun will explode suddenly but that is not the case. The process is very slow. It will not reach the supernova stage like the largest stars. Our sun is relatively small and will change into a red giant and then a white dwarf without a big explosion.

So let's not worry about the sun disappearing soon. We have enough time to live and enjoy its light. It is good to know these things so that we can live with hope and not with fear. The world still has a long way to go.
