I'm not sure there's a bias.......
If US or other countries have the right to bombard cities and areas on the basis of a couple of Terror incidents - blasts, 9/11 etc, then the Media should not preach restraint to a country or make an equivalence between a terror supporter and a victim.
India has been a victim since decades, and has the right to respond, whatever the Western Media thinks.
But yes, India has send many delegations across the world to make a diplomatic case in its favor, which is quite fair.

Freedom Fighters would tend to fight a system, an Army, Police or Establishment.
Once an individual or a group starts killing people and that too those who are unconcerned about anything and going about their day to day life (a case being NY City - 9/11 or Mumbai - 26/11 [2008]),
then it is pure pure terror and should not harbor any support.
And what would you call a country which gives a kind of state funeral to such terror operatives by draping its flag over them and where Army and Police attend the funeral?
Well, I suppose the answer is clear !
