What about Crock-Pot vegetarian lasagna? Simply leave out the beef.

Layer:

lasagna noodles
mozzarella
cottage cheese
marinara sauce'

repeat layers until the Crock-Pot is full.

Cook on HIGH for 4 hours.

Voila! ;) ;)

Thank you for the video! Aren't all noodles without the sauce vegetarian? Curious.

My mother has always made homemade pasta. How about this question... When a ton of leftover mashed potatoes in the fridge, my mother has always prepared gnocchi with the leftover mashed potatoes. Would the gnocchi be considered vegetarian or vegan?

The older I get, the less I like red meat, and I'm finding vegetarian things that I really rather like! I wonder if I could one day become vegetarian.

The recipe I'd like to offer is very quick and easy.

You'll need: finely chopped everything - garlic - 1 small onion - 1 medium-sized green pepper - 1 medium-sized tomato - +any other veggies you like
You'll also need: 1 teaspoon of curry paste of your choice - seasoning to taste + your favourite curry spices - 2 tablespoons olive oil - 1 teaspoon tomato paste - a generous amount of cream (there are loads of UHT substitutes out there) - 2 cups chickpeas

*If using dried chickpeas, you'll need to soak overnight and rinse thoroughly before cooking
* If using canned chickpeas, rinse throughly under cold running water before cooking

Steps:

- Bung all the veggies, seasoning, garlic and any spices you like in a pan with the olive oil. Fry until soft.
- Add your chickpeas, curry paste and tomato paste; stir, mixing throroughly
- Add a healthy amount of cream (or natural yoghurt substitute or a combination of both) to the mix.
- Cover and slow cook for 45-minutes to an hour.

Allow to cool a little and serve with flat breads of your choice <3 Enjoy!

Gnocci is usually vegan (I eat it often). It only wouldn't be if you made it with butter or something.

Well, I had already asked you not to post about meat in this thread. The discussion was right above where you decided to post about meat in this thread again. It was a very reasonable request and not at all difficult to accommodate. Please have some consideration.

"Pao cai," or Chinese pickles, is a very interesting recipe because the brine can be reused indefinitely. Some people have brines that are hundreds of years old, passed down from their grandmothers. One YouTuber mentioned that her brine is already 19 years old. It's similar to taking care of sourdough, but it's vegetarian—or even vegan."

Pao Cai looks pretty too, But yeah you have to buy a kind of jar.

Image

You have to replace the veggies on every harvest.

Image

You can use any veggie available but the thin vegetables you have to eat in 3 days to a week, while thicker vegetables should stay for a month at least.
