Re: Content farms

I tried doing daily videos once and it can be jarring. A single person is a mismatch to a content farm.

I have a team, but nobody can give time daily or even for a week, I am still trying to find what will do.

If my channel starts to take off, I will start hiring people like editors because I want to keep up with production.

Ours is NPO, so volunteers are first choice, hiring will happen when we have enough revenue.

I found this content farm list and except Yahoo Answers, Hubpages and Ask, rest of list is not so popular, at least for me.

I have noticed this trend but I didn't know there was a name on it. This is unfair to smaller content creators. And then going ahead to steal content is just beyond it all.

Some of these content farms also bullies smaller channels when they were called out to be content farms.

SO smaller content creators have to join hands to teach the bullies a lesson or two.

They did once, They are able to call out and gaslight a content farm pretending to be a single person after they discovered this content farm steal content from smaller channels. The content farm stopped making post and might have made a new channel of a different niche.

I never knew there was such. If so, the industry will be ful of of content farms and any up comers won't stand a chance. They will always be out shined which is not fair at all.i feel it's being greedy. There is enough space for everyone, why choose to benefit alone

Thats what happens when a system relies in an algorithm instead of real people. If you make videos daily, your channel will go viral in an instant because that is what Susan (Youtube ceo) favors and ordinary people cannot make daily videos.

Now that Tiktok is kicking their Butt, Google should consider getting rid of Susan. We need a WWE moment where Vince is forced to retire and now HHH is in power. Youtube needs that moment.

Any chance of gaining your monetized channel status back?

I have a monetized channel but its not English, English channels have risk to be attacked by FCC. Seriously there are audio porn Non english channels and they are monetized. Youtube is less strict when it comes to non English channels.

So sad to just sit and watch you tuber aspiring and upcoming talents held down. The content farms kill young talents for sure.

Then learn a lesson from Netherrealmer's experience, crate channel in your local language (for English people, they should use second language).

A channel in Hindi have higher chance to thrive than a channel in English, Most of the "report assassins" and content farms are at the English section. You can also add those annoying Spiderman Elsa/videos and the Anti-Marvel vlogs are also felt like content farms with all the content they pump on a daily basis. There is also those "primitive technology" channels that looks fake and scripted.

To be a content farmer, you must work with a team of people who may be your friends for at least 8 hours every day, as opposed to someone who only works on the weekends.
