Lately, I have been so panctual with my sleep and wake up time. I sleep at 11 and wake up at 5. So I get 6 hours of a great rest.

I want to thank everyone that has responded to this post, I wish there was a BETTER way to
respond back to you all every time you responded on a post on here than how it is but there's not
& it would pay us better for those LEAVING a response like MyLots does that's why I stay there

I feel adequate sleep is very important if you want to lead a healthy life, so I try to get at least 7 hours of continuous sleep at night. If i have an opportunity, I also try to sneak in an hour and half of afternoon siesta.

i sleep around 6-7 hours on weekdays because travelling to and fro work takes 3 hours daily, not including overtime, by the time i reach home, it would be 10pm, take a bath n dinner, around 12am to hit the sack, 6am to wake up

Minimum 6 hours but would fee very sleepy the whole day, so I think I need 8-9 hours sleep per day. :P

In night 6 to 7 hours. For last two day I am sleeping for 2+ hours in day time

I have set time to sleep and wake up and this helps me get a minimum of 7 hours sleep in a day

I do not get enough sleep. I need more. So will get in the bed early and try to sleep more tonight. Had a few rough nights of few hours sleep. So it's time to get well rested.

As I get older, 7 to 8 hours of sleep is actually too much for me. One weekend, I went to sleep without switching on my alarm; woke up fresh the next day with 6 hours of sleep. I did this little experiment of mine a few times on the next weekends, confirming that I only need 6 hours. If I try to sleep more than that, I actually get sleep inertia (drowsiness, disorientation). I rarely need naps. If I do, I find that a 90-minute nap is the best for me. I read in some articles that 20 mins is the best, but it makes me groggy.

Everybody's different; lifestyle or whatnot - one just has to find the best sleep pattern for oneself :geek:

For the past two days, I have been sleeping for 4 hours maximum because we are currently in my in-laws' house. According to doctors, the minimum an adult should have is 6 hours. This is for adults to have a good health. If you get less than this, chances are there will be some health issues
