Office Supplies

Postby Spontaneo » 03 Apr 2023, 22:18

When it comes to office supplies, I can help you save a little money.

*Stationary

Do you have a bunch of Xerox copies accumulating in and on your desk? If there is no writing on one side, use the Xerox copy as stationary. I like to do this with recipes. Not only am I sending a little hello but also a tasty dish!

*Post-it Notes

When I worked as a secretary, we would cut up unneeded documents into small squares to make Post-It Notes.

*Pens

Do you ever go to businesses displaying pens with their logos? Ask if you may have a couple! That is the whole point!

Can you think of another office supply?

Yes, that is what I meant. For example, I always ask for a few of my landlord's pens with his business logo on them. LOL ;)

This is what we do at work. We use the print outs that are no longer required and are blank from other side can be used to write or get xerox done for internal work.

I think that the best way to save on office supplies is going digital. Minimize paper costs by switching to working with pdf documents.

To save money on office supplies, you need to strictly monitor the usage of these supplies to avoid abuse that can make it to finish too fast.

LOL

I feel most productive when my landlord's pens are grey and bronze with the logo.

I am doing this from years and most offices do instruct their employees to use the other side to write so this way they save money

I've just bought a fountain pen. It's refillable, and the ink cartridges are cheaper than the pens I usually buy. Of course it's not as cheap as using free pens, but I think it's a little bit better for the environment. I'll see how it goes.
