Well, no I don't; but you need to be more specific. Because I'm sure there are quite a few people out there who do TONS of content creation like videos & podcasts and have gotten very little passive income.

How do we make sure we aren't one of those?

For me, I joined several paid sites, namely RIF, Mylot, and Forumcoin. I can earn money from there. Only internet quota capital, experience, and knowledge.

That reveals the truth of these programs: they aren't "paying you" so much as they're "sharing the revenue you help them earn." (They might 'invest a little bit' in you to keep up the "PTP"-façade, but ... if the money's "real," it's got to come from somewhere; right?)

Passive income doesn't come without investment. Even it doesn't take your money but it will take your time and energy.

But that is just as free as the free money I have been using.

They are paying you for providing a service (posting a comment) and there is no facade involved. If your comment does not result in drawing more traffic, they still pay you.

Maybe that's why people are convinced that some of these are "scams"; because you think they're promising 'blood from a turnip' (and they fool you into taking it because they give you a little of THEIR OWN blood in its place).

You just made my case. The only way I know of that you can prove no potential exists, is to register for a free account and test it yourself. Any success I have had only proves it to me and only serves as an example to those few who are willing to take Action to prove it to themselves.

But Cointiply has the best games ... the best I've seen so-far, anyway.
