The owner of the biggest telecom company here now owns a tv network and other businesses including the big coliseum that is used by the professional basketball league not to mention the electric company.

In India too JIO is #1 or #1 in Mobile Internet and as per the news they are planning to have their own TV Channel and may soon have the online banking system too so they will never vote for free Internet and won't let that happen

The idea of free internet in our country is courtesy of the government. The plan is to install free wifi in every corner of a major thoroughfare (avenue, boulevard, main roads).

Yes it should be free but i doubt it would happen because nothing is free in this world. If the monthly fee is given a 50% off for prompt payment, that should encourage users to avoid delay settlement of bills
