@sprite1950 - I know the distinction between the games. It's just that I have heard some people from other countries (non-USA) call a game by the name "football" and it turns out that they were really talking about the game Americans call "soccer". :?

I just Googled "what is football" and two search results popped up. American football and Soccer. :?

LOL. OK. Here's the thing. I HATE AMERICAN FOOTBALL! I know … IT'S UNAMERICAN! But I really don't like it. It goes all the way back to fights I used to have with my brothers because they would hog the TV all day on Sundays, watching football games. So every time somebody says “foottball”, it triggers the memories. So I check first to see if the person is talking about football or soccer. Because I happen to like Soccer.

Maradona was a legendary player, who helped Argentina lift the 1986 Football (Soccer)World Cup.
He did had his share of controversies like the "Hand of God" goal against England in the 1986 semi-final.
Yet he would always be remembered for his achievements and feats.

Would you like to hear a story? Long time ago I did not know much about the sport and so I did not know there was a famous player named Maradona. I was watcing an Israeli movie. There was this Muslim guy in Israel who was an excellent soccer player. The Jewish guy always called him “Maradona”. I was confused because of his accent, it sounded like he was calling the guy “Madonna”. And I was like: 'Why is calling the guy Madonna?' :? Later on I realized he was paying the guy a compliment by calling him “Maradona”. Evidently soccer is popular in the Middle East. True story.

I don't really like old Tv shows but I don't think I can ever grow tired of the Tom and Jerry cartoon it's just really amazing and really funny even when I'm sad or angry it's always puts a smile on my face it was one of my favorite cartoons when I was a kid and I still like it.

At the end of some of the episodes of One Step Beyond they interview the people who actually survived the experience. That part is interesting also.

I love Tom and Jerry too. Some cartoons never really date and this is one of them. My own children and my granddaughter also watched them and still would if they came on the tv.

My husband's favorite was Bugs Bunny and Yosemite Sam. He taped them so he could watch them over and over.
