What speakers are you using?

Postby Coinlv » 14 Jul 2015, 16:43

Do you use the ones that are integrated into your monitor or do you have separate speakers? If you are in a slightly public area you might use headphones, otherwise it could be connected to an amplifier and bookshelf speakers. I use Audioengine A2's with an Asus Xonar DX soundcard. I love good quality sound, so half decent spears are a must.

We have bought our Samsung desktop 10 years ago and along with it we got two Mercury MS 440 speakers and we are still using it. Also my son brought two more medium size speakers and one pair big size speakers and a whooper too and fixed in different places to enjoy the music . But now we are using only Mercury MS440

I have the original soundblaster, the one with a big speaker plus 4 small ones that look like whoopers. It is so loud if I would max the volume so the neighbors are rattled, waheehee.

I'm using old white Kinyo speakers I bought in 2000. A few years ago I bought a cheap Logitech's but the Kinyo sounded waaaaay better so I ditched the new ones. I mostly use headphones anyway.

I'm saving up money to buy some studio monitors, as music is what I'm studying. Until then I'm using a pair of Philips SHP9500.
