I am a duck farmer. Muscovy ducks thrives in neglect as long as you give them water. They are not feed dependent, they just eat the fruits that fell from my orchard and bugs and grass from the ground. Muscovy ducks can be super invasive that's why I have to fence my whole land so they won't destroy the wildlife. As long as you have big land, Muscovy ducks can survive on their own. I also give them my kitchen scraps. I only feed them in the morning since they find their own food.

I kill 8 Muscovy males every month. Males gets violent when there are other males around so I only keep 1 male per flock. Extra males will either be sold or harvested. Most females enjoys their lifespan except form the ones who are bad mothers.
I only farm them for eggs, when there was no outbreak, I sell the ducklings. I also have other breeds like mallards.

Farming is a really good home business. It earns you good money especially if you are in a highly fertile area that has a good supply of water. I think I will venture into this business soon.
