Are you happy with internet banking?

Postby Coinlv » 12 Jul 2015, 15:50

There are so many reports on hackers and snoopers that it makes me wonder how safe internet banking actually is. Are you bothered by it or do you still do it anyway?

Hackers usually break into other people's accounts because the owners let them do it.We usually give hackers many informations about us that could be useful for them to hack our accounts. We should care a little more about our accounts and I don't think there will be a problem.

Online banking is really convenient way to do monetary transactions. So far I never had any issues with my account and my bank always send reminder emails about fraud and phishing so it helps me to be a bit for aware and really check for my bank statements for any unusual transactions.

I love my bank's online banking. In this day and age I would despise going to a bank office to do my banking tasks, and security is always increasing against cyber-attacks.

And I haven't had any issues so far, so I've got that going.

I'm from a place that is advanced if compared to other cities in my country. I find it delightful to use internet banking to deal with bills. However, only a handful companies have that option with payments, and we are already "advanced".

I think there is something fishy happening on my savings account before. Every other Friday I see some withdrawals which I thought I made but they became frequent and they caused an alarm because I did not make or authorize them. The bank could not provide me an explanation and the best thing they could do is replace my atm card and did not bother refund the fraudulent withdrawals. I am not sure if this happened because of my online transactions or whatever

Oh no! Maybe if you have reported it sooner rather than later the bank would've refunded the amount?

I have seen one bad report over television crime news. There are people who take the details online and they are making the debit / credit card and using it for themselves. :)
