I'm right handed ever since I was a kid. I had a friend who was a right handed when he was still a kid, and then he became a right handed when he grew. I've also met a girl who writes with her left hand, but she plays the guitar with her right hand. How about you, are you a lefty or a righty?

I am ambidextrous. That means I can use both my left and right hands for different things. Initially, I used to write with my left hand when I was small. Yet, due to social thinking, my parents got me to write with right hand. Yet, while bowling or throwing in cricket, I use my left hand and a few other things. I can operate a scissor equally well with both my left and right hand.

Interesting story you have there. But what do you mean by social thinking? I'm interested to know more. By the way, I figured out that I can operate scissor equally well with both of my hands.

I'm predominantly righthanded but can be ambidextrous for some things, but certainly not for writing - for that, I'm strictly righthanded.

By social thinking, I meant that at time(and to some extent this time also), there was a belief that more use of left handed is devilish and not good. Even in medieval and ancient Europe thinking we had words like gauche and sinister (Sinister means left handedness : sine is Latin for left).
So, even in Europe, earlier thinking was against active use of left hand.

Growing up, I used both. My dad is left handed and my mom is right handed, so I think that had a lot to do with it. When I started school, I definitely became more heavily right handed.

Actually I am right handed, but I remember the time I broke my right arm, so I had to learn to do a lot with the left one. Only writing I couldn't handle.
