We are pleased to interview Love_to_sleep today.
Our goal is to get to know our friends and active members a little better. You are invited to ask additional questions, but will only receive answers if the questions are not too personal.
Q1: What name do you prefer to use?
A: Virote. It is a Thai name which denotes power.
Q2: How old are you?
A: If oldage relates to age then that is just a number. However, oldage has another meaning too.
There is a Sanskrit proverb - That isn’t assembly where old people are not found. He who doesn’t know righteousness is not old. That isn’t righteousness which is not backed by truth and truth is not covered by deception. By this definition, I am on the path of getting older.
Q3: Are you male, female, or other?
A: I am male.
Q4: Married or single? (How long? Anniversary date?)
A: I am yet to marry. Though the planning is work in progress
Q5: If you were to compare yourself with a non living thing, what it could be and why?
A: It is a book written in Sanskrit language.
The ancient language of Sanskrit has own beauty. The language was once considered most appropriate for talking computer. The structure is scientifically created. Interestingly, the grammar is defined such that changing the order of words has negligible impact on meaning. But, most important - ancient Sanskrit text contained scientific wonders yet they did not contradict spirituality. For example, the works of Aryabhata (the man behind number system and the real father of heliocentric model who defined it 1000 years before Copernicus did) called everything to be inspired from spiritual books like Vedas. That’s what I believe - Science and spirituality need not oppose each other.
Q6: Are you a student or adult beyond school?
A: Well, I left school many years ago and am now working
Q7: Who was your favorite school teacher, and why?
A: There were 2. Mr. Surindar Singh who taught me Physics and Mr. Shrikanth Upadhyay who taught Mathematics during 12th standard.
They both believed in learning via fun. They added life to all concepts they taught. The concepts they taught are still remembered by me despite the fact that the same isn’t used practically. Not only this, but they know beyond topics as well. Example: How to get rid of headache? My physics teacher answered that question too and his trick works till date. Never used medicine to cure headache after meeting him. Salute to him.
Q8: What is your favorite memory from childhood. Describe.
A: Well, there is nothing in childhood which one forgets. A scene of play, fun, learning and even teasing for that matter.
But my childhood was not that naughty. Always believed in peace and used to meditate. Yoga was internal part of life. I remember, when my teacher used to describe various Yoga postures and I used to add value to that discussion.

Q16: Do you had any unusual childhood demand?
A: Yes. I used to pray to GOD to add extra 480 hours to a Sunday.
Q17: Do you practice any religion? [and if so, describe]
A: Coming from the land of Vedas, I don’t have “religion” to believe in to but eternal law to be understood. No, it isn’t hinduism, that is just a subset of it. Word hindu is nowhere mentioned in Vedas.
The religion is generally defined by personal belief system but Vedic way is governed by well established laws. Belief system has no scientific backing and you still believe in it even if there is no rationale. Vedic way does not recommend going by predefined beliefs rather to use your conscience to understand everything. Exploring the reality is inward journey unlike other philosophies which advise you to find some GOD sitting in heaven. When you go deep inward, the path thus followed is spirituality. The right term I will use is Dharma which is more related to laws governing universal phenomenon. For example, it is Dharma of water to flow.
Modern day Hinduism is a slight distorted adulteration of Vedic Dharma.
Q18: Do you have any hobbies? [and if so, describe]
A: The most important hobby is : sleeping. SLEEP is basically an acronym and it expands to Stress Level Elimination Exercise Planning.
Other hobbies are reading books, and writing content on different portals.
Q19: Which content interest you the most?
A: It is non - fiction. Truth is often stranger than fiction. Even fiction articles are inspired by perceived realities. Human mind is conditioned by what we see OR feel. Imagination is creative modification of this mind conditioning. For example, people read news reports of crime strategies and modify it to write own fiction story.
I love to read what is happening in the world. Hence, I prefer to read geopolitics research related articles. Also, have strong inclination towards scientific phenomenon.
