I think banks are finding students who wish to go to off shore as a good option for loan candidate. I know many who took loan and are kind of stuck in payment process.

That is very true! But having official banks in the schools teach them about the functioning of the bank and its role in the society at the very young age!

Yea. We still have it but not in secondary school rather in universities. For secondary school, banks meets parents to open savings account for their children and wards where they will be saving little by little till the child gets to university level

That is good that she used her discretion and opted for more interest by locking the amount for one year! That is the way they learn at the early age, if they visit the Banks at the early age!

Yes, the parent is needed to assist the child in opening a bank account when the child is a minor (below 18).

Actually these banks I am talking about are meant for the students in secondary schools and not in Universities. This is the time when the students can be taught easily about any new cncept and they readily accept it , if they get convinced. So Governments in many countries are targeting this section of students!

Banks are very important for both adults and children nowadays. Adults can even consult banks about different investment plans and even insurance as most banks are involved in all these activities.
