How active do I have to be to be on the team?
Our philosophy is that we should not place restrictions on your activity in order to be a part of our team. Obviously, being a well-established member of the community who is active will boost your chances, but a lack of activity will not automatically disqualify you from being chosen to serve on our team. We have seen forums that require their staff members to produce a certain amount of posts per week or month, and that leads to burnout and a lack of post quality. We would prefer to make our community a place where people want to post to boost our activity, not force people to post.
What positions do you have open?
You decide. We want you to present your skills and talents to us so that we can find a place for you on our team. Since we are a "jack-of-all-trades" community, we have quite a bit of latitude in terms of what types of positions we can create for you. Tell us what you can offer, and we will try to find a place for you!
How many people are you hiring?
Again, you decide. We don't have a fixed quota for how many staff members we can have at a given time. We are always looking to expand our reach and take on new projects for our community. We will hire as many people as we need to be successful to that end.
Once I apply, what is the next step?
If we are interested in moving forward with your candidacy, we will arrange a casual interview via Discord or the forum's private messaging system and go from there.
