Mortal Kombat is known for its violence and also for it's award winning story mode. I played every single fighting game in existence and they have the best story mode.
(I find it silly though that characters who are friends and family on story mode will kill each other on versus mode since versus mode have no relevance to the story.) Anyway Mortal Kombat fans are now complaining because they have no more sexy female characters. They are redesigned to look like realistic fighters.

Their new head creative said that if you are going to a brutal fight to the death, You won't be wearing a bikini. They also think the original costumes of their females looks silly now the game looks realistic with modern technology

Sonya Blade use to be this sexy looking Military chick.


Now she looks like this:


This one is understandable though because she is now 50 years old. When the game started she is like 24 years old.

Jade use to be a Leotard clad Ninja who fights with her kendo pole and Pole dances when she wins.


Now she wears a Power rangers battle suit.



Skarlet use to be the Vampire that made men realized they are Heterosexual with her G string outfit.


Now not only she is fully covered, She is wearing a freaking Hijab and a body suit that doesn't show any inch of skin!

The last time I check, Vampires don't convert to Islam. Why does she wear a hijabs and Niqabs!

The producer said they removed all the sexy costume options for the women intentionally. They also reduced the breast size because the graphics looks realistic now. They think female fighters should wear practical clothing.

Meanwhile the male characters are allowed to show skin








I don't even think women are offended with the costume of the female characters because they are very popular in Cosplays.

They said no female characters will have double d's because big boobs are not realistic in a real fight,

ummm This is a real MMA fighter and she have big boobs!

No one wears leotards anymore and everyone have long sleeves. You dont' even want me to see a woman's armpit!! Why do they made all the women in this game wear outfits moms will approve. So parents think violence is okay but sexy outfits are not.

Another part of their decision to desexualize the female characters is that they think one of the reason women dont play videogames is they are offended of sexy outfits. They think more women will play videogames if the female characters wear practical clothes. This is a woman complaining about desexualization:

This is not a videogame for kids, It's a videogame for adults and its known for violence. For an R-18 game, Why do they gave the females family friendly outfits! WWE is a show for kids and female wrestlers have skimpy uniforms!



I think what they should have done is to give the player the choice wether they want the women to sexy or conservative.

sign of the times isn't it. Most games these days don't even have beautiful characters in them, because they say it's urealistic. I like my main character to be a hunk or a babe though, why not? It's escapism as it's intended.

Can they give her a shorts outfit please. Or at least a tank top where I can see her arms. I am not happy with this Islamic friendly costumes they are having.

full body armor is not real either. They would die of being so hot jumping and kicking under all that clothes. The old stuff Sonya used to wear was not overly sexy. It was just sweats and and a work out top. Makes sense to wear that while fighting lol.

It seems mobile games like Mobile Legends and Arena of Valor.. only have attractive characters.
and they try to make them as cute and sexy as possible. lol They have different skins. The main one is not that sexy, but you can buy sexy outfits for them. Maybe that is what mortal kombat wants to do

They confirm there won't be any scantily clad female outfit dlc. Its funny how they want to "respect" women when you can brutally murder women on this game.

It seemed like they finally gave in to some complaints but they only give the sexy outfit options to 2 characters only.



They gave Jacqui some outfits that shows a bit of skin but it is still too tame compared her previous costumes. Also.... Black women are known for having the best booties. She doesn't have any.

Cassie is now given tanktop and shorts options.


Kitana's costume options are really upsetting knowing she was the hottest woman in the game but her outfits can be worn on Saudi Arabia.

The only female who doesn't have clothes is D'vorah but she is a disgusting spider bee hybrid monster with exoskeleton as skin.



Its really sad that this game get rids of sexiness for women.
