What was your happiest moment in 2018?

Postby metsrock69 » 30 Dec 2018, 23:32

Monday is new years eve. I have done a few things this year but my happiest moment was seeing my kids and grandkids . I helped them get here and I helped them get home safely. I will see them again in 2019 but probably in their town.

Well 2018 is probably my best year I made the most money I have ever made
online. And I get to sleep in daily. SO I am very happy.

I had a mixed year.. with ups and downs. But I had a lot of happy moments among the sad and tough ones. My happiest one was getting a very thoughtful gift from my children on Mother's Day.

I wasn't too fond of 2018 but it wasn't the worst LOL One of my favourite memories was of my husband buying me a little runaround round about this time last year, my very first car at this ripe old age haha. I'd got my license years ago but moved to the UK where I never once drove because the transport system there is decent.

Being back home however, meant extortionate taxi fares and a very shoddy public transport system overall :( Once my husband bought the car, I went back to driving school and here we are! While I'm not a huge fan of driving, I love the freedom that comes with owning a car and could never go back to using public transport again.

I know how you feel. I have had to use public transportation years ago and I said never again. I will always have a vehicle or 2

2018 was not a good year for me. There were no happiest moment. In fact I have seen many bad moments. It was a sad year for me. I'm glad that you were happy in 2018 . I'm looking forward to have some positivity in this new year.

I think it was at Xmas when I got a bunch of pressies from back in the UK. My mum sent me some nice tablecloths with featuring animals and famous monuments. Being an expat, I felt quite nostalgic.
