Do you ever write hand written letters anymore?

Postby MysticMoons » 11 Jan 2019, 08:40

There is just something special about a hand written letter that is better
than an e mail or text message. Also I think a lot more feeling and thought goes
into a hand written letter. But with tech and the net, it seems the art of writing
with a pen is being lost. Yes in the old times it was a great way to keep in touch with someone.
I mean I guess you could also type up and print a nice letter as well.

Do you ever write hand written letters? Do you like writing ?

Yes and yes! I hand write letters and I like writing. The hand written mails I receive also get special treatment. :) They seem to be more heartfelt (sincere) and they will remain with me for a long time. <3

I can't remember writing any friendly letter on a paper. I prefer text messages or email. I have written a couple of application letters on paper though.

The truth is technology has changed the way we live. You will be amazed at how people walk on the street interactinh with their phones without noticing whats going on around them.
I can't even remember the last time I put pen to paper to write a letter.I'd rather send an e-mail which is easier and faster.

Are you kidding? I don't even type letters anymore, since my smartphone has voice input.

I have written many. In my state board exam, we have a separate topic for letter writing.

Wow well that is just great! It is good to know you still write hand written letters. I am also thinking of writing some. Even though I do not think I will get a reply back. But I would like to write a letter and send it away in a bottle in the sea.

I don't trust all these big tech companies
that record and store everything we say.. to keep my deepest secrets.
A hand written letter is for the eyes of that special someone only.

However I do like voice chat for looking up places to eat. I dont really care
about that if they are storing that data. But however something you want
to be special just for one person.

That is wonderful!

Also everyone I actually had to do some hand writing to fill out some forums before I get my big money sent to me for something. So never lose the art of hand writing and the pen! You never know when it comes in handy.

Yes, I do but they are mostly cards that I handwrite on. I find that mostly it is older people such as grandmothers who really appreciate a handwritten card.
