I don't think it is possible unless someone ports it in desktop like the facebook messenger that is ported in MAC. I think you can still use the instagram (website from your browser) in viewing pictures or searching for pictures but you can't post from your computer.

Like, others have said I regret to tell you that I don't think there is a way. Maybe you can find a coder and ask them to make software for you that would allow you to use it on desktop?

Yes you can post from your desktop or laptop.

Go into the Google Chrome Extensions, open the Chrome Web store, type "instagram desktop" in the search box. ADD the extension that says "Desktop for Instagram".

I use it all the time. <3

There is a Google chrome plugin / extension which might help you. This extension which is known as Desktop for Instagram serves a great purpose depending on your needful. I suggest you try it out and see if it helps. Go to chrome store and search or it.

Until now I don't know how to manage my Instagram account. I keep receiving connection requests and posted some photos. But I want to share my link but don't know how to do it.

Looks I have to try them and see why you say so. Sometimes its worth to try and see how it exactly works. I am currently using Desktop for Instagram only.

Well I sometimes don't know what to populate my Instagram account with. It's a mix of affiliate products posts, some business and social media tips, and some personal posts of things I like. No matter what I posts, almost every day I get new followers and likes. At any rate, I no longer have to think of things to post because the Google plus social network will be closing down next year. It's a slow process but every now and then I comb through my G+ posts and repost the content to Instagram. No worries. When G+ shuts down all my posts there will disappear.

@cmoneyspinner, I haven't bothered much with Instagram. Seems like it's working for you, but for my niche more traditional sources of networking and affiliate marketing work much better. Sucks that Google+ has to shut down after their user information got exposed. However, what irritates me is that the leak happened in March and Google decided that they didn't have to report it since their were no laws requiring them. I hate when companies aren't transparent. Same issue with Facebook. We are living in a new age when companies literally have pages upon pages of information on you.

You can use bluestacks for windows to play any android game or application. Some browsers like opera browser supports a plug in for both whatsapp and Instagram

Sorry to say but I think there is no proper tool in using Instagram in a desktop. Actually, the original target audience of Instagram are photographers, amateurs or not. Desktop does not have a pretty built-in camera unlike smart phones. So, the creators of Instagram solely focus on making their app a mobile-version only. Their app's main purpose is motivate the phone users to take pictures and use their filter than posting news article or sharing memes.
