I wonder how you can stay on a site for 4 years and received nothing. Maybe you loved what tou are doing. I also stayed in Mylot for nearly 12 years now with only 2 payments that I received and yet I am still visiting still.

They have payment program where you can get paid in advance for writing specific articles. But open only to specific people.

You got a lot of patience staying for four years in a site having no payment, I guess you enjoy tthe site as much as you wanted payments. I heard this site before then and I know its a good site and there are good writers too, hope you got your payments.

I think online earning is all about patience. You never know how a sale may happen or some affiliate marketing sales may happen as well. It can be definitely good in that context.

You will be surprised to note that I stayed on the site for almost 3 years during 2008-2010 (I am still there for last five years with a different account. During my first 3 years I had 300+ hubs with lot of comments but I never monetized once I lost my adsense account. I have no regrets neither I left any hubs on the site. However, I am planning to write once again.
300+hubs and you never tried to monetize them? I had 100+ hubs, mostly poems but then I removed most of them and shifted them to my own blog. I have around 70 hubs now. Though earning is negligible but I am still on HP

Well i have never tried Hug Pages. So I can not say I ever got paid from them. I would say probably not write there. As I heard the pay is very low. Do they just let you put adsense ads on articles?

I created an account on this site but I could not post any article because I never had an AdSense account. It is a great site but it doesn't work for me.

The Google Ad Sense is a revenue share plan. I signed up years back and can't remember what the percentage share is. But I just checked my Earnings. Last month I earned $4. So far this month I've earned $5. If you have been approved for Ad Sense, just put your ID in your account and HUBPages takes care of the ad placements.

$ 4 and $5 as monthly earning from the site sounds good to me. How much of time and effort did it take to be there?

If you can write longer articles then there is a chance that it may work out for you. I think it did work out for some people.

what are the multiple ways ? you mean both free advertising, Amazon affiliate marketing and earnings from view?

You earn from hubpages earning program, amazon affiliate program and adsense. Your hubpages earning and amazon earning will be directly sent to you by hubpages and you will receive adsense on your adsense account.

Postby cmoneyspinner » 02 Jan 2019, 19:59

So! During 2018 I get regular eMails from HUBPages showing how my HUBs are doing. Most of the eMails have been sort of disappointing because it kept showing that my views were going down. But today's eMail, the first eMail for the new year, 2019, there was great news! My weekly views for my HUBs and for my HP profile increased. Woo Hoo! What a terrific way to start the new year.

Hi cmoneyspinner1tf,
IN THE LAST 7 DAYS...
Hub Views 237 ~ HubPages Weekly UP 7.4%
Profile Views 12 ~ HubPages Weekly UP 60.7%

Re: Hubpages

I have been on various article writing sites and I can say with confidence that Hubpages is the best so far. I have four accounts there I most write poetry, flash fiction and literature reviews on my side accounts while my main account focuses on self Improvement and psychology.
The beauty about hubpages is that they will take your best hub in terms of traffic and do professional editing to make your hub the best in terms of content and appeal. A free service you cannot think of getting on any other site.
They also accept hubbers for their training program. If your hubs are doing well content wise and get some hublove its easy to get accepted. They do an awesome work with training and I can tell you its been my best experience on Hubpages so far.
The only problem right now is the community is not as closely knit as it was before, The hubs are shifted to specific domains and no one really cares about the hubpages community.
The earning are tied to adsense and that is another issue there for people who have had their adsense account disabled.
If your adsense account is intact you can be assured of a passive income from your hubpages account/s regularly even if you are not active there currently.

I have to agree with this. I have seen that some of the time it can be pretty good for earning.

I did try Hubpges in the past, however, I could no longer use hubpages because my adsense that I applied through hubpages was declined. If you do not have adsense, you can no longer benefit from hubpages.
