And her invitation (below) illustrate why people should show up (and the reason why people get together once a week in their spare time)---not because of 'a Supernatural Father-Friend' or 'pixies that carry your dead body's spirit to Paradise' or something, but to 'connect with the people of the community' (offer a helping hand, share the burden of grief, find some help you may need yourself, etc.)

I grew up not far from Pittsburgh. My brother and his family live there now, near the neighborhood where the shooting happened. We aren't Jewish, but this incident still hit me. It was too close to home, literally.

I haven't watched the video clip yet, but I agree that there is something about meeting with your community, sharing your collective grief together, and supporting each other. I also completely understand why some people would be afraid to do that right now, but I hope they find a way.

I have a habit of 'sneaking links into my text' without mentioning, 'HEY! YOU CAN CLICK THIS TO FIND OUT SOMETHING!' And that's what I did with the link to AJC's plans for #ShowUpForShabbat Instead of saying "Go to https://global.ajc.org/secure/ShowUpforShabbat to find the closest synagogue that's participating in #SUFS!" I just snuck it in in a hyperlink mentioning it somehow

Are the InfoLink links 'the same color as the other links' for you? I think--with most browsers' default color-settings--ForumCoin programmed the InfoLink links to be a different color. If you 'personalized' your color-settings, you might want to "restore default settings" there; because sometimes we use 'hyperlinks' the way Bible-quoters use 'Scripture-citations (chapter:verse)' when they're "proving" that The Bible says something.
