sashenka wrote:I haven't exactly done my homework regarding My lot, but would I be able to earn let's say $5 per month if I'm not a popular type of person? Are the earnings reflecting the popularity, activity or both?

it could be hard at the beginning to reach the minimum, the first two months were the most difficult one, at least it were for me, but if you comment on others discussions, like their comments and discussions and post 1-2 new discussions per week then other users will get to know you and it will be easy to earn. the site needs time and $5 every month is perfectly achievable.

I keep telling people...and people keep ignoring it...you get paid for interaction you get from other people, not for your own actions. It doesn't matter 'how much time' you spend there, it depends on what you do with that time to make people want to interact back with you.

Mylot is a hobby and not a business and livelihood.

I am happy there! To be successful there one has to be regular , need to spend some time and interact actively. With small effort I ma sure one can reach minimum payout every month there!

Mylot is all about interactions. It is more of give and take or in other words..you scratch my back and I will scratch your. You will get interactions if you respond to to others and then they will revert back. Being regular and actively interactive is the only way to get more interactions and earn.

I miss it when I can't visit in a day. Though I don't post or respond most of the time, I love to read from friends. Yes it pays to be in mylot. The satisfaction we got is far from the monetary value that we got. Enjoying most of my time there.

Even I enjoy it and miss it when I do not visit it for a day. It is more of making friends and learning than earning. And more friends you make and more you interact with them, earning automatically happens. So it does pay to be in Mylot.

This is exactly what I noticed. I return the favour for when People interact with me and I make sure I'm not saying crappy things.

Besides we dont earn for our actions I think the time we spend there is quite important. The more you coment on others discussions the higher are the possibilities to receive an answer back.

The more you make anything you do worth reading, the higher are the possibilities to receive a reply back. Someone can comment 'Nice discussion' to me 500 times and I am not going to reply back to any of them.

I will answer your question. I spend 1 hour and I earn 20 cents. In 1 hour I comment and respond and people interact with me. If we don't comment we will not receive any interaction.

Mylot pays. This month I will receive my second payment. But interaction takes some time. Sometimes it's frustrating. Not all the people respond back. I asked many questions and they didn't answer.

I can spend 5 minutes and earn 20 cents. It does not matter how much time you spend, it depends on what you do and how you do it. One discussion could earn you $1.

I'm really not doing it for money now but to chat to my regular friends so my earnings are very small. I like to interact with the few people I have got to know quite well.
