For years now, The Sims franchise has been one of the most popular game franchises on the gaming market. I have found that it doesn't matter how old people are, or what genre of game they are usually into playing, they will still play and enjoy The Sims games.
But I have to say, I find The Sims games quite boring to play. It's boring enough having to run a household in real life, never mind in a computer simulation game. I don't know if I can explain it, but there's something terribly vacant about The Sims, and I'm not sure if that is because they don't speak English, or if it's because the AI needs to be improved.
I'm guessing that it is such a popular franchise, because it allows people to be whoever they want to be, and create the lives that they've always wanted.
Do you play The Sims? If so, what do you enjoy about it?
