People simply know that the heart and the mind are separated. Some people say, "if you were courted by someone, always use your mind, not your heart." But it's wrong! The truth is, the thoughts we actually think in mind comes from the heart.

It is the heart that dictates everything in our being. If you have good heart, it follows, then, you have a good mind. A good person produces good from the good treasure of his heart, and an evil person produces evil from an evil treasure.

Actually everything, all of our thoughts, love and our being comes from our mind, heart is just a blood pump. People say "follow your heart" or "use your mind" or whatever but the decision will come from the same place. We just artificially separate it in our head for some reason. If you think about it this way, maybe things can be a bit clearer.

I agree the two can be separated but work in concert I often do not know when to take a hard responta think with the heart and not the mind
