It's gaining these days. I am not sure what could be the reason. But so far the performance of the coin is going good.

Yes it has been rising lately. I am looking at the eth/btc pair. It has been rolling along great. Eth is up over 13% in the last 7 days. I think it will pull back.

Indeed, both ETH and BTC are going up these days. I've noticed that faucets are giving out less and less satoshis for the two currencies.

But I heard some predictions/rumors that BTC will drop again before it bounces back up to a higher value. Wonder if now is a good time to invest in some money to buy BTC.

Well Bitcoin is still a currency and all currencies have ups and downs. Buying bitcoins is like investing for the stocks exchange because it is a huge gamble where you can rise or fall.

This is why we are always advised to invest what we can stand to lose. The rise and fall of bitcoins and crypto currency in general is unpredictable.Even with long term studies, chances of loss are minimal when it happens.

Ether has risen against bitcoin in recent weeks. I would like this trend to continue in the short term. Perhaps some of the steam has ran out.

This is really good for those people that are trading their coins, this is now the time to convert their bitcoins into real money.

I hope so, but for now it was down again to 9000$. But comparing the price from the previous weeks, this is still one of the highest price.

Fluctuations is price is to be expected. It will continue to behave like a roller coaster. Bitcoin is worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
