I was with someone for over 10 years and we broke up summer of 2017. The first 2 weeks I tried to get him back and let him know I still loved and missed him. It was a heart-wrenching time and due to that, I remained way to involved in something that no longer existed. For a while, after that, I just threw myself into working for my dad while living with my parents. I always found something to do there to take my mind off of being single.
I actually grew to like it and it gave me some time to save some money and learn about myself. I am actually not single anymore, I have been with someone else now since October. We have had a few bumps but are doing okay,
