Living check to check is how many people live. It's not easy to do what you want to do. When all you have money for is what you need to do. I find it hard to always have to budget but I do it every month. I am blessed that I have helpful friends that will do things for me. I am blessed to do some things for people as well. I hope one and all of us are doing the very best we can.

our neighbor help each other by looking out when there are strangers knocking on the door, if it rains, help to keep neighbor's clothes if he is not at home, taking care of pets when they are out station, things like that

I think most people are feeling the pinch and just have to knuckle down to keep their heads above water. Ever since the global recession, things have progressively got worse. But we all do what we have to, even if it means having 2-3 jobs, although even those are very thin on the ground. It's tough!

but it WOULD be nice where we didn't HAVE to do that & enjoy life more than we do.

I am doing great! I have couple of friends that will come at 4 in the morning if I need them. As we say a friend in need is friend indeed. I have couple of friends that would ask no questions but help me and probably I would do the same.
