No matter how batteries are expensive, I think it would be cheaper to buy new ones than buying a new phone, unless you really want to upgrade your device.thisnthat wrote:For me, it got to the point where batteries were so expensive anyway that I might as well change phones. Since my package includes upgrades at certain intervals, I could get a replacement cheaper than I could get a battery. Now, once they wear out, you're done anyway. I guess it won't make much of a difference to me, although I'm sure it does for some folks.
Do you mean the battery was misbehaving(bad) or the whole phone?chikitta wrote:I have had a phone that did not have a removable battery for a while until it started misbehaving I had no otherwise but to buy a new phone.
Yea, one of those nice brands. I have not seem people with this phones lately, I don't know maybe people are no longer interested in their products or maybe they just need to top up their game.carmilina wrote:Wow! You still have an Ericsson phone that is a classic phone and hard to find as well.

Exactly, that is it. Though some people may not buy this idea, however, some people are on low budget sometimes, hence they would not be able to get a complete new phone and instead it would be cheaper to get a new battery instead.iyanpol12 wrote:I prefer phones with removable batteries as I can still use my phone and have it replaced when the battery is becoming the problem.
So how do you get around with the problem? I mean when your tab hangs, does it hang forever or you just wait for it to come back to it senses at it's convenient time?SHOHANA wrote:I have experience with non removable battery , It was my tab and when it hang I can't remove the battery to restart the device.
You are right but the big guys won't mind changing the whole phone. For me I would rather stay with removable batteries for now.ahmedo24 wrote:Once a battery is removable you can always change it when it bad but non removable battery may end up the phone
