Re: Workersonboard forum

Well, looking at things since the influx of new writers clambering to post, the forum will be left with no pints soon which means it will get disabled again. It really doesn't help PostLoop when newbies behave like this.

Often the owner won't replenish for a while again, so maybe newbies calm down or you maybe responsible for the demise of another forum. I've seen it happen before when the points went down too fast and the owner didn't want to invest again.

Owners don't have bottomless bank accounts!

I do not find anything wrong if one wants to get there. It is left to the owner to approve or not approve depending on how many they can accommodate.

Workersonboard is always disabled for a few days per week. It was like that at the "old" Postloop too.

I have found that it was disabled and you can consider that it may open again once the owner gains few more points.

I got credit only for 2 posts I had posted 5. I saw the negative credit figure and had my doubts

Not always, if the points went down too fast then it was offline for a couple of weeks and I don't blame the owner. It was only disabled when points ran out. Most owners have a monthly budget and don't go over for the sake of topping up.

I bet Alicia will be glad to know that we are talking about her forum. I wonder why I am reading some comments about not being able to join. After PL had closed I think I still can access workersonboard but I will check again today

The credit got over. You can always look at the number there. When I arrived it was -9 and I knew I would not get credit for all 5 posts. I got only for 2.

You need to keep refreshing the points once they drop that low. Sites usually get disabled when the points drop below -10.

The site ran out of points. It will be back when the owner has more points to spend. That may take a few days though.

It's good that the owner has approved so many people. I haven't contact the owner yet, will do that soon. ;)

Thanks @bestwriter for trying that out and sharing it with us too!

This forum has been disabled now. I received a notification so now just have to wait until they come back again. I was still able to post on there since I had been a member before PL shut down last year. Hopefully, they won't be down long so everyone can earn from them.

There is such heavy demand for this forum that their credits get over in no time. Will have to wait till they fill their coffers (lol)

Why does this forum disabled? IS the owner facing lack of funds?

The owner obviously has a limited budget, but the forum will be back. I've been using WorkersonBoard Forum since January 2015 and there have always been periods when it is disabled.

I'm not surprised WOB is popular! Alicia, the owner is personable and ever so laid back. It's great to hear that a lot of people have finally been approved. I have yet to check if I'm one of the lucky ones. I sent her a PM but have just not had the time to check. Fingers crossed.

Those who of you who are members shouldn't despair because like Gina145 says, like most other forums, WOB is disabled from time to time, but it WILL return in due course :)

I kind of like Workersonboard forum because the owner gives similar points as Superiorthan does. In addition, there are international members there who are working abroad, getting to know each other better. Too bad that this forum funds is limited.

Don't despair, skysnap, it'll definitely come back...WOB has always done this, it keeps coming and going dependent on funds. It's a shame it doesn't have as big a budget as some of those rigid and boring ones we see all the time because in my opinion, it's one of the best out there, one of the most accomodating. It's certainly always been one of my faves.

For those of you on the site, it is back on PL right now. I received notification today from PL and went and did my 5 posts. This forum always comes back you just have to be patient for it to show up. I do like it since there is so much information on it. I have found sites from there and the community is definitely helpful.
