I live in a city that is called Vehicle City because at one time it is where vehicles were made. In the glory days, there were many factories around that built cars and made parts for cars. General Motors, Buick, AC Delco were the big ones that were the backbone of this city. Sadly, things took a downward turn and factories closed. Most left for other states to work and we are still struggling to climb up out of the bad recession that had hit. Of course, for a few years we were rated #1 in violent crime per capita in the US. Now we are best known for our lead water. It keeps getting better. LOL.

I come from a noisy city with traffic jam in every part of it. The roads are not good either and this makes transport very slow. I just don't like it.

I am from Kolkata and it is usually known for "city of Joy". The name exactly matched with its culture. If someone enters the city first time he will realize his attraction towards the city. there are many places for visit like Victoria Memorial (a world class building made by the English), Science city, Kolkata Botanical Garden, Alipur zoo, Tipu Sultan Mosque etc.
Another distinct character of the city is many people of the different community are living together here and affluent and poverty lives here in cheek by jawl manner so if anyone wants to visit the city I am sure he/she will be overwhelmed by its exquisiteness.

I was posted in Kolkata the city of joy as a regional manager of my company in last decade. I traveled a lot in that area and found everything to my liking but I was bit worried due to humidity as I was not much used to it. Nice meeting you.

I live in Bengaluru and there's more than one specialty in my city and the most special among all the specials of my city is its gardens, Lal Bagh, the botanical garden is that specialty, its spread on over 700 acres of land and exhibits wide diversity in terms both plants and birds. For this reason , Bengaluru is called as the " Garden City of India".

Some years ago I spent a few days in Kolkata and it is a fascinating place. What I remember most is relaxing, eating the street food, visiting the port with its huge ships and visiting Mother Theresa's Home for the Dying. Kolkata really is a great place to visit and I'd love to have the opportunity to go back there some time in the future.

I'm from a town in the Philippines where we have a ton of seafood. We're known as "the Seafood Capital". It's really cheap too! You can buy half a sack of oysters for just 3 dollars!
