Do you believe in angels? If you do, tell me why?

P.S. I'm not talking about humans you consider angels because of the good works and acts of compassion. I'm talking about heavenly beings that do not live in this world with us, but have been known to visit from time to time.

I always believe that everyone has its own guardian angel. The one that guides them and their thinking. Some says it is just your conscience that saves you from bad decision. Maybe it all depends on experience if one likes to believe on it or not.

I don't believe in angels because I have never heard and experienced anything related to angels so my mind is not accepting.

every christians believe there are angels somewhere out there, they are the ones who helped Jesus when HE was tempted by the Satan. Although we can't see them through naked eyes, just believe that angels would help the weak and people who prayed earnestly.

No, I don't believe in angels of that type at all because I've never encountered one. If I did have the experience, I would have no problem agreeing they exist. The only angels I've had the pleasure of having in my life are of the human kind, people who've come through for me in my most desperate hour of need.

I believed in angels when I was a kid. I would act as if they were imaginary friends and that each person has an assigned guardian angel. Now that I'm older, I see angels as figures of myth and folklore, something I would categorize with mermaids.

I do, but I don't necessarily think that they appear in winged, ethereal, form. They may be in the form of a human or animal or anything. I seem to remember hearing in church that when you give comfort (food, other needs) to someone, you could be providing comfort to angels.

I know that many people believe in this kind of a thing and even consider it a heavy offense if somebody doesn't. But, I simply can't believe in this kind of a thing, especially not in the heavenly beings floating in some level of Heavens and things like that.

If you believe in the Bible, then it's it shouldn't be impractical to believe in angels. I am not in agreement with the notion of winged beings theory. My belief is that it would probably be some spiritual power that is there to grant protection at certain times when God may deem it fit to do so. This may be the reason for people to refer to their guardian angle because they may believe that some divine intervention may have saved them from a very horrific situation.

I want to believe in them because it's such a lovely idea to think that someone is watching over us and protecting us from harm.

I once read something from a mother who related a story where her young child had fallen from a great height but seemed unharmed. When questioning the child after she said a lady with wings had caught her before she hit the bottom. I don't know whether it's true or not but it stuck in my mind.

Yes I do, but I think the OP confuses what some deem earth angels and angels. They can be the same, it's only a media perception that has given those who do good deeds a tag. Those who do good aren't necessarily angels, but some maybe. Consider that, and that their actions have inspired others to do likewise.

If you believe in angels, you probably believe in demons too. Therefore, you also believe that there is a hell and a heaven. So, you are a religious person. I don't know what to believe.
