I drink regular tea, not really into all these fancy types. Marmite! I don't hate it but I don't buy it very often. If someone gave it to me on a piece of toast I would eat it providing it wasn't too thick but it's not a big favourite of mine. The ad shown below always makes me laugh when I see it:-

HAHHA, it's the first time for me to see that ad  Yeah, I tried Marmite (called Vegemite in Australia) and didn't like it. Or maybe I put too much? They say there's a "technique" to enjoy it but I am too scared to try again.

When was the last time that you clapped your hands in sincere appreciation?

It was at my granddaughter's Christmas school play. I loved it and we all clapped so hard. The pleasure on their little faces said it all.

Sounds great! Another question, what was the funniest thing that your grandchild ever said or did?

There have been lots of things, some of them embarrassing! She used to love cheese and pickle sandwiches but she called them cheese and prickle :D. I remember when she was about 5 she heard a woman burp loudly in the street and she looked at her and said 'errgh!'. That was a little embarrassing

My pets are rescue dogs so they had some bad habits but it doesn't take long to put them right in most cases. Once they learn to trust you they want to please you so they usually will do what you say. Puppies are hard work but at least you can train them from the start how you want them to behve.

LOL, kids are the most honest persons. :D

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grow up?

I wanted to be a nurse. I had a nurse's outfit with a stethoscope and used to go round listening to heartbeats. In reality I went into secretarial work when I left school.

It depends how much. I might be a little put off if I saw an operation being performed but I think I could get used to it. My dad was a police officer and had to attend post mortems where bodies were sliced open. i think that might freak me out a bit!

Haha ceci, no I'm afraid it's my year of birth! On other sites where I sometimes use a different name I will use the numbers 66 or whatever age I am at the time I register.

Yes I am a huge animal lover. I have two dogs, a cat, a hamster and the recent addition of two guinea pigs. My cat is 19 years old and looking a little tatty but she's still going strong.

What can you advise an adult me in the late 20's about life in general? Anything that happened in your life that you learned a lot from it that you would like to share to us? Anything, I just want to feel inspired with life. Thank you!

I'm so excited to see your cat. :)

What was the best advice that you got from a friend?

I've made quite a few mistakes in my life but the one thing I can say is although they had quite an impact on my life I made the best of them. I was honest with myself, I didn't blame anyone else (as so many do) and I have come out the other side a stronger person so I guess you could say I've learned by them.

I think it was my best friend who told me to stop feeling sorry for myself and move on! She was right of course so I picked myself up, dusted myself off and carried on. The only way is forward when things are tough :)
