I saw The Magnificent Seven, and it was okay. Nothing outstanding or offensive, with lots of gun spinning and flying daggers. As a remake it was passable, and Chris Pratt was good, and also Ethan Hawke. I usually like Denzel Washington, but he seemed weak in this film to me.

Last movie I watched was when we went to the movies to see Finding Dory.
I know that came out a while ago, I'm not a big movie person.

True Story. Jonah Hill and James Franco. It was pretty interesting at first but i didn't like the ending. it was dry and it could have been better if it wasn't James Franco. I like him but not for his role in this movie.

I watched Storks the other night and it was really cute movie. I would watch it again. We watched Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. It was good but I was disappointed in it since I have read all three books and I think the movie could have been better done.

I really like this song. I think it captures the emotions that were in the book. Another thing that I didn't like about the movie was that they changed the peculiar capabilities of Emma and Olive. In the book Olive was the one that was lighter than air and Emma had the power of fire. Not sure why they did that but oh well. The movie by itself was pretty good even though it could have been better.

Last night I watched a 2006 Robin Williams movie called RV and it just made me remember why I love Netflix. It not only kept me laughing all night, but at the end was a moral for us all.

@oldbuddy RV was a really good Robin Williams movie and yes the end does have a moral for us to learn.

Tonight my family and I watched Zootopia. I loved the movie and so did my kids. It was a really good movie. Way better than I expected it to be from the commercials that they had when it came out. Funny and heart warming.

I just watched Interstellar, a 2014 science fiction movie with amazing special effects. Just be aware that it is 2 hours and 47 minutes long, so plan accordingly.

I watched Conjuring 2 today. It was a bit scary and rest was hyped. It wasn't something I'd say scary but a good movie nonetheless. I may watch other movies once I get enough time :D

Out of curiosity maybe because that is what I feel when I watched it in cinema too. I want to leave the cinema soon because I am so afraid of the film, but it changes when I found out the 3 lead actors getting their award at some award presentation that made me think "I have been fooled" it is not a true to life recording...

Yeah a lot has been made dramatic. So it's not true story obviously. If there were demons like those shown in the movie. We would still be in 1800 era. :D But yeah they tried to show horror as much as they can within their limits.

I watched "The Witches" with the kids. It makes for a cute and funny Halloween movie. My youngest daughter is a big Roald Dahl fan and really likes this movie; I need to see if I can find the book for her.

The Witches sound like a good movie for Halloween especially if it is by Roald Dahl. I should find the book at the library to read to the kids this year.

Last night I decided to watch some old movies so I watched The Innocents from the 1960's. It was about a governess who believed that the children she was in charge of were possessed by two spirits of two people who had been working at the house and were lovers who died. Then I watched The Eye of the Devil with David Niven, Deborah Kerr, and the first movie that Sharon Tate played in. It was about a vineyard owner who sold his soul to the devil to keep the land fertile and sacrificed himself for the people that relied upon the vineyard for their livelihood.

The Chalk Garden was the last one that I watched and it was about a woman who took a job as a governess and wanted to keep her past a secret. Of course, it ended up being found out. It also had Deborah Kerr in it and Hayley Mills who was the girl in the original Parent Trap movie.

All of these movies were very good and I am glad that I got to watch them. I love old movies. Sometimes they are better than the ones they come up with nowadays.

I watched Don't Breath and Nerve back to back, I liked both of them actually. They were fun, Don't Breath was better though.
