What grows in our garden are juicy papayas but this year we had done because of heavy rain. Papaya trees cannot tolerate heavy rain We had to buy papayas but they were mostly seedless and pretty hollow with little flesh.

We have planted a few as the rain has subsided and waitng patiently for results.

I am very sorry that when it rains heavily, the garden becomes like a flooded desert and papaya trees do not like too much water. The fruits that you buy often do not taste fresh and are like an empty pot. But now that the rain has stopped, when you plant a new plant, you need patience and daily care. As the Chinese say, one drop of water can dig a stone. So if you water it little by little and wait for the results, your garden will recover and the sweet papayas will come again.

It is difficult when one has different types of fruits and flowers in their garden - some like rain and some do not

It's very tricky when you have a garden with different fruits and flowers. Some like rain, some don't. It's hard to balance everything and still maintain the beauty of your garden. That's a real challenge for anyone who loves to garden.

This year I see no bougainvillae as they hate rain. They normally bloom around September

This may sound weird, but I prefer papayas when they are green. When they are green, they are more of a vegetable, but yeah. I like green papayas better. Great for salads, but also great alternative for potato.
