That sounds like a very tasty and healthy breakfast 🥣. The combination of wheat, lentil, and corn flour with semolina and crushed rice brings out a unique taste. Adding grated coconut, onions, fresh chilies, and coriander leaves adds a nice aroma and nutrients.

Roasted cumin seeds add a unique taste and an attractive aroma. When the dough is kneaded with water, sugar, and salt, it becomes soft and ready to be made into dumplings. Then steaming makes this food light on the stomach and good for health 💪.

Oh, this is not what came into my mind when you think of dumplings. When I think of dumplings, I was thinking about the Chinese dumplings, Japanese Gyoza, you know, the steamed meatballs, or the momos of the Nepalese, or the piroshkies of the Ukrainians. I didn't know that there is a kind of dumpling that seems to be more of a dessert material.

This is my own creation and it is not a dessert as it is spicy and not sweet.

Can you please share the recipe with us, bestwriter?

Once they are made can they safely be stored for a few days?

Are they healthy?

I keep them in the fridge and steam whatever is required on the day I want to have it. They remain fresh for more than a weak

You take one cup each of corn and gram flour. Two cups each of wheat flour and beaten rice (flattened rice), One cup of semolina, Chop one onion, a few green chilies and coriander leaves - all finely chopped. Add sugar and salt to taste. Add three cups of scraped coconut.

Make a dough adding water, make dumplings and steam them.

Do not forget to eat. :P

Thanks for sharing, @bestwriter... that looks and sounds MOUTHWATERING!!! <3 But I'd probably want that for dinner instead of breakfast. Would this recipe work with say, mutton korma?

It could but meat and scraped coconut for example may not be a good combination
