Archaeologists in Turkey have unearthed a remarkable 1,200-year-old carbonized loaf of bread depicting the image of Jesus Christ.
The artifact was found at the Topraktepe site, once the ancient city of Eirenopolis, this artifact dates back to the 7th or 8th centuries A.D.
Officials confirmed the unique depiction shows Christ as a sower or farmer, symbolizing fertility and labor.
Inscribed with the phrase, "With gratitude to the Blessed Jesus," specialists suggest the relic represents rare communion or Eucharist bread, underscoring its historical importance to early Christian rituals
