The rock is probably done with wrestling

Postby Netherrealmer » 06 Sep 2025, 13:40

I think The Rock is done with wrestling because he recently underwent a massive weight loss. His reason for losing weight is that he wants to be taken more seriously as an actor. As long as he stays extremely muscular and bulky, he will be limited to action movie roles. By slimming down, he can pursue drama and non-action films, giving him more versatility. Perhaps he was inspired—or even a little jealous—because Batista has recently been landing roles in horror and drama movies after his own weight loss. The Rock may have realized that, as long as he remains heavily muscular, he will keep playing the same type of character in every film.

He probably wants to win an Oscar or something, so the roles he usually get will probably go to John Cena or his cousin Roman Reigns.

He certainly looks a lot slimmer in the second photo. He also looks older and wiser. Hopefully it will go well for and he will get the roles that he has prepared and worked for.

In case of Brock Lesnar, they tried to wait if his name will be cleared from the sexual harassment accusation first. In case of The Rock, I really think he's done. Roman Reigns is now the head of the family.

The Rock's transformation reflects artistic growth. Losing weight is not a weakness, but a way to expand his acting abilities. Like Batista, he can explore emotional films and win big awards. This courage deserves respect.

His weight loss definitely shows he wants more diverse roles beyond action films. I hope, he finds what he’s aiming for.

I had even not recognized that it was the same Rock in the second photo.

It's true, The Rock seems to be moving into a new chapter in his life. Losing weight could help him take on more diverse roles in movies.

We wish him success in every new step—his talent is still immense and unique!

I think he is trying to leave action movies because those action roles are now being offered to John Cena instead of him. So he wants a new direction on his career. Also, he's not managed by Danni Garcia anymore. The Rock was very successful back then because he is managed by his ex-wife, Danny Garcia. And Danni Garcia is such a good manager. She's able to make many actors successful, but yeah, he doesn't work with her anymore. I think he's self-managing now, and he struggled without Danni Garcia.

Could it also have something to do with the fact that his popularity is waning? He used to be known as the nicest, most humble guy in showbiz. But apparently, he's upset a few people who think he's fake.

He refuses to look weak in movies, which is problematic for many directors also he is the cause why Black Adam flops. Movie was originally 100 million in budget but he demanded it to be 300 million.

True, fame comes with its challenges. People change, and public image is not easy to manage. But The Rock has left a huge mark on the trends of entertainment and sports. Even though he is taking a break from wrestling, his achievements are still inspiring.

As long as he is happy with the results, then i got notting to say about this. Hopefully this won't backfire though.

If The Rock has decided to retire from wrestling and is happy with his decision, then it is something to be respected. Life goes on and each new step brings different opportunities. We wish him success in whatever he chooses to do. Good luck!

In the Moana live-action remake, you can see that the rock looks skinny on the trailer.
