If you want a sweet fizzy drink just make your home made syrup and add it to carbonated water. These galbladder stones looks damn big to fit inside a human body. Three litres of soda per day? That’s asking for trouble. People need to take responsibility. This isn’t just bad luck. It’s a result of poor choices repeated every day. Listen to your body. And your doctor.
Bladder stones, not "gallbladder stones"- gall stones are found in the gallbladder, bladder stones in the bladder. They are two different organs and gallstones and bladder stones are caused by different things. I don't know about bladder stones but gallstones really are just bad luck a lot of the time. You are more likely to get them if you are overweight, but they can also be caused by pregnancy or just genetics. They're not caused by drinking soda.
That is horrifying though, don't get me wrong. If the picture is real he must have been in a tremendous amount of pain.
Edit: looking at the story they are actually kidney stones, although they ended up in his bladder.
