So I came across this article on Techgig which let me know that Microsoft has completed 50 years.
While many on this planet know about Microsoft, when Bill Gates and Paul Allen founded Microsoft in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1975 with a vision to make computers accessible to everyone, it was a very different world.
Mainframes and other Giant Computer systems dominated niche workplaces.
Yet from MS-DOS to Windows and then to Azure and its significant foray in AI, Microsoft has made its mark.
Microsoft did face some setbacks or some of its products did not make much headway.
One such was its Vista OS. Then I do not think MS Surface tablets became that popular.
Also, Bing search engine launched in 2009 is way behind Google but one might say that it is still used by many.
As of now, Microsoft is focusing on Azure - its subscription based Cloud system, AI integration with Bing plus
AI integration with Azure.
It acquired Linkedin some time back and might go after TikTok.
