Very useful information! While we have liking for sweet foods, we have started using less refined sugars, and controlled oil consumption.
Also we try to use Mustard Oil at times and also use Ghee for some of our cooking.

That's really good.. Eating less sugar is super healthy for you. Using a little amount of mustard oil and ghee can make your food taste yummy while still being good for your body.

I think I am on the safe side since I ditched sugar some years ago.
In my view, you can train your taste sensory organs to like consuming food and drinks without added sugar.
It is healthy.

That’s impressive.. Ditching sugar takes dedication. I agree, over time, your taste buds can adapt and start to enjoy food and drinks without added sugar. It’s a healthier choice and can make a big difference in overall well-being. Well done!

Instead of taking all these inflammatory foods, I go for foods that contain omega 3 acids that are anti inflammatory like walnuts.

That’s a smart choice.. Do you find that eating omega-3 rich foods like walnuts helps reduce inflammation and improves how you feel overall? Have you noticed any specific health benefits since making this switch?

That's a thought-provoking point. Why do you think harmful substances like white sugar remain legal despite health risks, while marijuana, which could have medicinal benefits, stays illegal?

When I cut down on my sugar intake and that of wheat products, I find a considerable improvement in my health. My ESR levels drop down. I am a type 1 insulin dependent diabetic. So, I have learned to manage my condition with diet and lifestyle changes without increasing my insulin dosage over decades. From last few months I am on zero refined sugar and minimal wheat products.
Refined oils are strict no in my kitchen. I use handpressed mustard oil, groundnut oil and sesame oil for consumption.

That’s really inspiring.. Managing diabetes with just a diet and lifestyle takes a lot of dedication. Cutting out refined sugar, wheat, and using natural oils has clearly helped your health. Keep it up your way of living is a great example of taking care of yourself.

I am good at consuming refined sugars. Yes they trigger my body and I feel hot. This is one of my health conditions that has been worsening over time. When I did an endoscopy, it should an inflammation in the stomach lining. Now am just like that. Food triggers my body response and it gets me down

I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with refined sugars and the inflammation. It must be challenging dealing with the symptoms and food triggers. I hope you find better ways to manage your condition and improve your health. Take care and stay strong.
